Crème Noir Milk Stout

Crème Noir! What a fancy name! The inspiration to brew a full bodied, bittersweet, creamy, decadent beer came from our mother. And the inspiration to name it thus came right after having the first glass of it.

Our mother is not a beer drinker- in fact, she wasn’t too pleased with the idea of us starting a microbrewery in the first place.

The cream stout is Partha’s way of wooing her (and all the other folks out there who believe Beer = Bitter) into liking beer. She is a big fan of coffees and dark chocolates.

And this cream stout is just that- creamy, slightly sweet with hints of dark chocolate and coffee!

We have used this beer as a base style to brew many more versions of this stout- Noir Tangerine, a chocolate orange stout, Black Forest Stout and a Blueberry Stout.

Notable Features & Reviews:

ANSHUMAN says:
“Crème Noir was literally the reason I believed in “craft” of a beer. If beer making is the craft, Yavasura are one of the finest craftsmen around.
I have loved the consistency with which Crème Noir has brought so much joy and much desired bitterness in my life.”
DEEPAK says:
“The Crème Noir from Yavasura. This was like drinking a freshly brewed, dark roast-y mug of coffee with a dash (and a half) of cream. Sublime.”
MANISH says:
“Special love to the Crème Noir. Haven’t had a better milk stout yet.”
